In the first cook-off of Millennium Cooking Philippines, Chef Lily Min (author of "Korean Drama Cookbook") demonstrates how to make wolgwa-chae, a Korean royal court cuisine summer dish that is traditionally made with pickling melon ("wolgwa" in Korean).
Contestants Michelle and Raphael learn the twist of the competition, and Michelle takes the kitchen. Whoever wins this round goes on to compete in the final cook-off, where the winner takes home Php 25,000 in cash, Php 75,000 worth of home furnishings from IKEA, and a one-of-a-kind Millennium Cooking Philippines trophy.
