Cooking Sirloin Tip Roast
Imagine that piece of meat on the dinner plate still sizzling after being served by the waiter. It smells good and looks tasty, as there are mash potatoes on the side with a glass of red wine on the table. Some people call this heaven and its time wake up knowing it was just a dream.
When people crave for something, this can really drive the person to go to that favorite restaurant and without even looking at the menu, order it instantly. But people don’t have to do that anymore. After choosing it, this should be brought home and left in the kitchen table to reach room temperature. This could take an hour or two, which is enough time to make the ingredients for marinating it.
Those who like it spicy and hot can try mixing a chili-garlic marinade. When ready, the sirloin tip can be mixed in it and left for a few minutes to settle. For better results, this should be left in the freezer for 6 hours before it is brought again and ready to cooked.
Hours later, the person should bring it out again until it reaches room temperature. After warming up the griller, the individual should put that slab in using a tong. This will keep the juices from the marinade still there to keep maintain the taste until it is served.
The griller must be set to medium when the sirloin tip roast is being cooked. It must be turned from one side to the other to make sure it isn’t raw forcing one to put this back in for a few more minutes.
Many people turn this over two or three times every 10 minutes or so. To make sure it is cooked, the individual can try slicing a small portion, putting a thermometer in it or simply using the hand to see if it is firm.
While the sirloin tip roast is being cooked, the person can cook some vegetables on one end of the griller. A few good choices are carrots or French fries just like the customer always gets this in the steak house.
When everything is ready, both the vegetables and the sirloin tip roast can be transferred to a plate to cool before being served. If there are many people coming for dinner, this can be sliced into smaller pieces so everyone will be able to enjoy what the cook has prepared.
Sirloin tip roast isn’t that expensive compared to other slabs available but it can still satisfy one’s appetite. A bottle of red wine chilled can then be opened so the individual can pretend to be dining in that favorite restaurant all in the comforts of ones home.
