Tips in Cooking a Steak
Everyone loves steak. For many, just hearing that word can make the stomach grumble and the tongue drool. Since there are different types to choose from, the person must first decide which part of the cow will this come from before bringing it home and for everyone to eat.

1. In order to enjoy it, the person must always use top quality meat. These can be found in the grocery or in the market. The customer must examine it carefully and ask the butcher how long has it been in the freezer because the fresher it is, the better.
The right measurement for a sirloin steak should be nothing greater than 1-½ inches. The best to get are those that have streaks of fat in between because this will melt later on as this burned on the fire which also keeps it from drying out.
2. Before throwing it in the griller, it is best to season it. The cook can add some salt, pepper and steak sauce. Others mix a few ingredients and leave this in a plastic container overnight.
3. There are two ways to cook that slab of meat. The first is using a griller, which should be turned up to full for it to warm up. The other will be using charcoal so this will spread all around. Some oil can be used to start the fire.
4. When the griller is ready, the steak should be placed on the fire. After a few minutes, the person should add some seasoning again using some salt and black pepper.
5. The steak should be turned from one side to another every three to five minutes. To create grill marks, this can be turned a quarter halfway.
6. If flame ups happen, it is best to move it to another section of the griller. The person is trying to cook the piece of meat and not burn it.
7. There are different ways to making that delicious and juicy steak. This is the reason why the waiter will always ask how this should be cooked before it is served to the guest.
The best way to tell if is ready will be using a thrusting the thermometer into the steak. Rare should be around 115 to 120 degrees. Medium is around 125 while the well-done kind should range from 35 to 140.
Another way to do this will be cutting a small portion and judging it by the color of the meat inside.
When it is ready, the person can put this in the plate with some side dishes on it before serving it to the guests. If this is too hard because there are a lot of people in the house, it’s probably best to put everything in a serving plate so everyone can dig in.
