INGREDIENTS CAKE: 1 Betty Crocker Butter Pecan cake mix 1 cup water ¾ cup oil 4 large eggs 1 15.5 oz container Betty Crocker Coconut Pecan Frosting 1 cup chopped pecans
INGREDIENTS GLAZE: 2 Tbs salted butter 1 cup chopped pecans 1 small can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Combine cake ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour prepared batter into a well-greased 13x9 inch cake pan. Bake in Preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
While cake is baking, prepare glaze by adding butter, pecans, and condensed milk to a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently until very hot. Do not allow mixture to boil. Set aside.
Remove cake from oven and allow to cool for five minutes. Using a fork, chopstick, or spoon handle, poke holes all over cake surface. Pour warm glaze over surface of warm cake and spread around to cover surface evenly and fill holes. Allow glazed cake to cool completely before cutting.
